Christoph Geppert, Creative Director, Packaging & Environments, is the founder of Grain. He has a gift and a passion for creating design solutions in three dimensions. Christoph has worked in packaging, product design and interior environments over the past 15 years for the leading consultancies Pentagram, Landor, Siegel & Gale and Tom Dixon, for clients including Sandoz, United Airlines, Telefonica and Pantone. For Qantas, he collaborated with Marc Newson on the design of its Airbus A380 interiors. At Grain, his clients have included Nokia, British Airways and Sony Playstation. Christoph is German, and holds a degree in management from St Andrew’s University and an MA in industrial design from Central St Martin’s College of Design.
Madelyn Postman, Creative Director, Brand & Digital, combines creative inspiration with business insight. For 17 years, she has been helping companies communicate, beautifully, in traditional and digital media. Madelyn started her career in Italy and worked at Gucci Group for 5 years, her projects including art-directing the first Gucci and Sergo Rossi websites. In 2002 in London she co-founded design firm Vivian Cipolla, which gained Nokia and Burberry as clients. In 2007 she established her own company, Madomat, where her clients included Sunglass Hut and Richemont. Madelyn is American and has a BA (Hons) from Brown University. She is fluent in Italian, having lived in Bologna for 8 years.
Nick Sheaff, Brand Consultant, is an expert brand strategist with a track record of 22 years. Whether creating new brands or invigorating established brands, he brings clarity and momentum to brand strategy projects. Schooled in brand consulting at Wolff Olins, the UK’s leading branding firm, Nick worked internationally for 9 years with New York-based Siegel & Gale and was brand strategist for creation of the Novartis name and identity. His other brand programmes include AIB Bank, Green Flag, B.Braun, Clariant, Polish mobile brand Plus, Laing Homes, LyondellBasell, Qatar Petroleum and the International Islamic Trade Finance Corporation. Nick is British and studied at Cambridge University and the London Business School. He is an external lecturer at the London College of Communication for the MA Graphic Branding & Identity.
