Colourful packaging for the authority on colour
Pantone has been the leader of colour reference systems for many years but was lacking the same authority in the presentation of their products. The books and fans looked like a publication for graphic design rather than reference material. The new design developed for the entire product range not only created a stronger presence on the desk but also used colour as the main element for the coding of the products. The strong colour presence on the outside then gave way to a neutral presentation of the colour chips on the inside to not distract from the process of choosing the right colour.
